Go to your Arms - Part One

A young buck running track

Pretty unstuck

A fun loving running back

Full of good luck

Ran just a single lap

call it 400

For a short guy

had a tall heart

and some big thighs

Idle words

said by a coach

can sometimes save lives

even when

you forget their name

the words can stay inside

“In the moment when you tire out

When your head falls

and your mind clouds

at the end of coming so far...

Go to your arms”
