Area

Sharp pains turn to dull aches

When you see someone you used to love, everyday

When you see someone who you used to love everyday

When everyday you see someone even if its just a flash on the back of your eyes

When you think, if you could cry

How you'd probably see bangs and goofy clothes reflected in those droplets of light

Sharp pains turn to dull aches

Like scars that still hurt when it rains

How being cold and wet reminds you of the once warm hold

And you really start to think about what it's like to be old

How many scars can a heart carry

Like a math problem only involving area

And is it possible that one person really filled the whole damn thing up
